I’m Janann Velasco, a Latin American singer and songwriter, born on May 5th in Portoviejo, Manabí, Ecuador. My life has always been guided by a deep passion for music, honest expression, and the transformative power of art.
From a very young age, I knew my voice was an essential part of my purpose. I started singing with my family, and over time, I participated in several music reality shows in my country, which helped me connect with audiences and gain stage experience. Later, I became a member of the music group Kandela & Son, a key milestone in my artistic journey. I also appeared in national TV series such as Sharon la Hechicera and took part in major theater productions, where I discovered the power of storytelling through acting. Today, my music is fueled by real-life experiences—love, heartbreak, personal growth, and everything that empowers a woman to become freer, stronger, and more true to herself.
💄 Creating is also leading
During the pandemic, like many people, I was forced to reinvent myself. That’s when my passion for entrepreneurship was born. I started creating makeup tutorials from home, which eventually led me to study professional makeup artistry. Since then, I’ve discovered a new way to empower others: helping women feel confident, beautiful, and secure in their own skin.

In 2022, my life took a major turn when I moved to the United States. This change transformed not only my surroundings, but also my purpose. Through bilingual performances, consistent hard work, and deep personal growth, I began to rebuild myself—both as a woman and as an artist.

My purpose is clear: to transform women’s lives through music and entrepreneurship. I aim to release songs that heal and inspire self-love and strength and to create beauty, health, and wellness products that elevate each woman’s confidence, authenticity, and sense of power.
